July is shaping up to be another exciting month at Southdowns, with a fantastic programme of activities and entertainment planned for our residents to enjoy.

From live music and pet therapy visits to pampering sessions and creative activities, there’s something for everyone throughout the month. Residents can look forward to performances from Gina C , Gemma and the ever-popular Rockin’ Mike, bringing plenty of music, singing and dancing to the home.

Animal lovers will enjoy a visit from Pet Pals, offering the opportunity to spend time with friendly therapy animals, while World Ice Cream Day promises a delicious summer treat for everyone. To round off the month, residents will be able to relax and unwind during a special Ladies’ Pampering Day.

Alongside these special events, residents can continue to enjoy a wide range of regular activities including bingo, arts and crafts, quizzes, reminiscence sessions, sensory activities, flower arranging, outings and Millie’s Nightclub. Our wonderful wellbeing team also offers regular pampering services, including hairdressing, massage and nail care, helping residents to look and feel their very best.

At Southdowns, we know that meaningful activities play an important role in promoting wellbeing, independence and social connection. Every event is carefully planned to encourage residents to stay active, engaged and, most importantly, to have fun.
