“Amanda brings with her more than 35 years of experience in the health and social care sector, having progressed from a care role through to senior leadership positions across both national and independent care providers.

Throughout her career, Amanda has specialised in supporting older people, particularly those living with dementia, and has a strong track record of leading high quality care services. She has successfully managed and supported a wide range of homes, including overseeing multiple services as a Regional Director and Regional Support Manager, helping teams improve quality, achieve regulatory compliance and create outstanding environments for residents.

Amanda is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming home where residents feel safe, valued and able to live fulfilling lives. She believes in leading by example, maintaining an open door approach and building strong relationships with residents, relatives and colleagues alike. Her focus is on delivering compassionate, person-centred care while supporting her team to achieve their very best.

Amanda is delighted to be leading the team at Cavell House and looks forward to welcoming residents, families and visitors into the home.”

"When you enter the home, you see a sign 'this home runs on love and laughter' this has been our experience the whole time my husband has been resident here. The home is very clean and smells lovely, everybody we've met has been very kind and helpful, everything we asked for they try to accommodate.
